Trucker awarded freight worth 1.5 million dollars

Riscoe Evans, 42 picked up a load in Ontario, Ca on May 3rd 2016 bound for a warehouse in Newark, NJ on May 10th

When he arrived at his destination the gate was padlocked and the business closed by order of the U.S Dept. Of Agriculture.

He calls the broker but his number has been disconnected.

He calls the shipper but their number is no longer in service.

Not knowing what to do with the load he goes to the local sheriff office who then forward his dilemma to the Department of Transportation.

D.O.T informs him that if nobody comes forward to claim the cargo. In 90 days he can claim ownership of it.

After 90 days he comes back and claim the cargo…he breaks the seal on the rear door opens it up and finds. ……..
