Uri Geller Makes Shock Admission

Famous spoon-bending magician Uri Geller has sensationally admitted to the reason behind his disappearance from the media spotlight in recent years, according to reports.

Speaking on Israeli Television last week, when speaking about his past exploits in seemingly having the ability to bend pieces of cutlery using only his mind and psychic powers, Geller was asked if he had kept all the utensils in question. His reply was shocking:

“People do often ask me if I keep all the spoons I’ve made the subject of my power and my answer is simple. Yes. Of course I do. I keep them all in my kitchen. My wife and I own approximately 1400 spoons.”

He went on to add that the partial reason behind his decision to remove himself from the tribulations of being a famous magician was not necessarily one he had total control over:

“There came a time when family meals would not include dessert due to me being so precious about using our spoons for my act. It was crazy. Looking back, I may have done things differently.”

Geller currently resides on the outskirts of Tel-Aviv with his wife and their 16 dogs.
