17 teen year old shot and killed outside of westside high school

Student La Dasia Lucas was shot and killed earlier this morning by another student who believes that La Dasia was trying to fight her after school. The victims mother tells James D. Hardy that some of the students at westside knew La Dasia by the nickname Dae or Dasia and that she was a wonderful young lady in had dreams that she will not see anymore but La Dasia mother states that she wants someone to step forward so she can get closer for her child. Talks to the teachers of westside that had the victim as a student in there classes they all say that La Dasia aka Dae was a out going student she always had a smile on her face and they dont understand why another student would have that much hate in there hearts to take her life but we are going to keep her name alive…
