26-year old Kelli M. Schafer of Colorado Springs, CO. is wanted for a hit-and-run murder that has been unsolved since February of 2016. The hit-and-run occurred outside a small neighborhood near Old Colorado City and left a 19-year old male dead after he was struck on his bicycle.
New evidence has been released linking Schafer to the hit-and-run but Schafer has been noted to have left the country back in August of last year. She is believed to be in Europe with her long term boyfriend William Garcia but her exact location has yet to be confirmed.
Any information leading to the capture and finding of Schafer should be reported to local law enforcement and all cooperation would be appreciated by CSPD.
