On Thursday, January 29th 2017 at approximately 2:30pm a wild alligator was spotted on the corner of 46th and Broadway. It is said that it may have come up through a sewer drain after escaping from a wild animal shelter in queens.
Authorized say that the alligator was captured before it posed harm to anyone. Ashley Brookes of Tulsa, Oklahoma says “We planned to go to the zoo today, but the zoo came to us!” Shelter workers had filed a police report the day prior and are relieved to have the reptile is back.
