From 1st January 2018 the supermarket group ASDA are selling their fleet to American owned haulier XPO Logistics. The depots are still being ASDA owned and staffed. All transport staff will be TUPED to XPO Logistics
This is the first step in the rebranding from ASDA to Walmart in 2020, and transferring out their transport is a cost saving arrangement, common in the United States, and more efficient.
