To many locals surprise, City Council officials agreed to hold an emergency vote to end Ocean City’s history of being a “dry town.” Late Thursday night a meeting was called after officials fielded many calls from those who wish to change the law which has been around since OC’s founding days. Phone calls to City Council officials were not immediately returned. From what we’ve been able to gather thus far, only Natural Light and Busch Ice have been OK’d by restaurant owners because everything else tastes like “bath water.” If you ask me, I would’ve said Natural Light was a no brainer. So drink up and have fun!
