Cicero man charged with hate crime

Shortly after 7:00 PM Thursday June 29, several phone calls were received from Onondaga county 9-1-1 dispatch that a man was throwing shopping carts at an unknown victim at the Cicero Wal Mart. The victim said he had incidentally bumped into the very angry man with his shopping cart, and the man whom authorities have disclosed as Frank Aldrich 35 of Cicero, then began to approach the victim who was wearing tattered clothing upon interview and claimed that Mr. Aldrich had ripped his clothing but after cct review the man had entered the store with his clothes already tattered. Mr. Aldrich was angry that this man shown him little respect in the manner that his taxes paid for the “scumbags foodstamps for him and his trashy kids”. Mr. Aldrich is being held at the justice center $150,000 bail, on numerous charges including felonious assault, menacing, and attempted assault on a law officer.
