Caught alive, Monday morning at approximately 11:00AM, a 17 foot salt water crocodile was restrained by the Sacramento Police Department, the Marine Stranding Center of Sacramento County, and the United States Coast Guard. The Sacramento police department received frantic calls from people being chased by the crocodile on the lake near Embassy suits down town Sacramento.They were able to catch it only after it attacked a young girl.
The 2,572-pound salt water crocodile,Sacramento Police suspected of attacking several people and biting the legs off a cocker spaniel named Lucky.
