This complaint is one small part of the public expressing concerns for responsible journalism. The problem is the growing practice of inflating headlines escalating to reporting false story content in order to boost sales. This is not a new phenomena for public news media it has been practiced on some level just as long as honest responsible journalism possibly even longer. Had I read half of the previous story when my child’s calls out for me, and the dog peed on the rug, right before my neighbors began screaming across my yard this could have ended much worse than a sarcastic overwhelmed single parent with no time for fake news.
