The council has decided to ignore the wishes of the feasibility test and get fl built. They estimate fl will be up and running by 2022.
The cost of tolls will be £4 each way.
The council believes that despite all the opposition the benefits will out way the bad.
Hopefully this will please most of the residences of the island and grow the island back to its former glory.
One local residence says ” The council loves wasting the tax payers money they will eventually bankrupt the island.”
Another residence points out ” I wouldn’t trust the council to get this built look at the hassle of the floating bridge between Cowes and East Cowes.
If there is any opposition should be made in writing within 14 days.
