A former California native, Armando Tirre, has fielded many typical questions about living in the Golden State regarding great weather, beautiful National parks and the state’s reputation for being liberal.
However, according to Mr. Tirre, he really doesn’t understand the questions about surfing. “First, has anyone ever seen me with my shirt off?”, he stoicly stated. “Not happening. Plus, that water is damn cold.”
Armando added that he comes from a long lineage of non-surfers.
“Not breaking that tradition.” he said, as he looked out at the fields of corn.
