Late Wednesday night, at around 11:30 p.m. local time, a Fort Carson soldier Caleb Zampedri was arrested after authorities were called to his residence due to loud music and “strange ” sounds coming from within the residence.
CSPS spokes person stated that after repeated attempts Mr. Zampedri answered the door, he was wearing body gold paint and what was described by officers as a “geek” mask. He greeted the responding officers by chanting “helicopter helicopter helicopter” and offering them a “cold one”. Further inspection of the domicile revealed 3 full grown pigs being held in a kiddie pool full of maple syrup. When asked the reason for the pigs Mr. Zampedri stated, “they’re for wrestlin”.
Mr. Zampedri was booked on 3 counts of animal cruelty, and is being held in Elpaso County Jail.
