Last week when the waves were high from the storm going on in the gulf, there was about a 16ft great white shark spotted at the pier. It was circling the end looking for food. It saw two surfers and chased them to the beach. Almost catching one.
Local authorities have gotten many complaints about this shark. It has been braking the pilings at the pier also. It has been said that the shark has eaten a kayak that got loose Thursday May 29th.
Later that day the shark was captured at 17th street south of the Naples pier. Authorities captured the massive beast when it was building a gigantic sand castle with its flippers. It was HUGE!!! They will be serving him up at the pier on the Fourth of July before the fire works.
