Retired Green Beret David Marshall was arrested at the ATL airport for assaulting a group of people. The altercation occurred after listening to the UC Berkeley debate team discuss the positive narrative that “the View” co-host Whoopi Goldberg. When Mr. Marshall asked the group to lower their voices because his daughter was sleeping, they responded with, “NO! We have the right to speak as loud as we want. It’s our first amendment right” says a witness to the Melee.

Mr. Marshall is being charged on 15 counts of assault, 15 counts of striking an individual to the point of unconsciousness and public endangerment. His bail hearing is set for July 6, 2017.

ATL airport authorities held back laughter when asked why they didn’t break up the fight earlier. “We wanted to see if anyone would be a Good Samaritan, but no one assisted the college students” said police chief Harold Knutts. Another eyewitness stated, “I would’ve helped those kids, but when his little daughter grabbed one of those hipster’s beards and threw him to the ground, who was I to step in.”

Pending the outcome of the trial, the Atlanta Police and TSA are considering Mr. Marshall to become their new Defensive Tactics instructor.
