Human trafficking tip leads to raid. Many arrested in GA military base

Police and federal agents are on the scene of a purported business in Georgia after an anonymous tip on Wednesday led to a possible human trafficking investigation, Georgia Police Chief Willy Walase said.

Walase said the anonymous tip came in at about 9 a.m. on April 19 about a site just west of the intersection of gotcha st and sucker Road. The building is a metal shed that is described as a business but has no signage.

Later in the day, federal investigators with Homeland Security and Immigrations and Customs Enforcement raided the property and found eight people inside the building, along with stolen guns and a stolen vehicle
