An Illiopolis resident, Trisha Ridgeway, was arrest late last night after Sangamon County Sheriff pulled her over for suspicious driving. When he asked her to roll her window down and she wouldn’t, he then proceeded to ask her to step out of the vehicle only to discover she had nothing on but socks.
Startled, the sheriff asked her if she had any clothes with her and her response was “no but I do have a quilt I made” so the sheriff asked to get it and cover herself up. She complied then was arrested for public intoxication, public nudity, and driving under the influence. Bond is set at $10,000. Court date is yet to be determined.
