An Isabella County musician, Dan Hernandez, age 22, is set to perform at Vans Warped Tour later this summer alongside Caleb Shomo, singer for Beartooth and formerly of metal band Attack Attack, July 21st on the Journey’s Right Foot stage at The Palace of Auburn Hills just outside of Detroit. We spoke with Mr. Hernandez about his thoughts and what his hopes are for the future.
“Well, hopefully this will actually launch my music career and a label will pick me up or something. I mean, this is a pretty awesome opportunity really. Maybe I’ll be able to actually buy some decent equipment! Haha!”
He went on to tell us that he has been playing instruments and singing for 14 years and that he hopes to finally record a “professional sounding” album and even do a music video or two. Despite still being undiscovered on social media, Mr. Hernandez has persevered and done whatever he could to make his dreams finally happen.
As we were leaving the interview, Mr. Hernandez mentioned that this article is completely fake but would still really appreciate if you’d give his band page a like, listened to a song or two, or made a financial contribution because music is extremely expensive and he is broke and is having a hard time getting a job because he has no vehicle.
