Jeffersonville man arrested for marijuana grow operation

An indoor marijuana growing operation was uncovered Thursday night in Clark County. A James R Karsner now stands charged.

Following an undercover investigation, the Clark County Sheriffโ€™s Office Narcotics Division executed a search warrant at 2027 Market St , Jeffersonville More than a dozen marijuana plants weighing 18.9 pounds were reportedly seized from a garage converted to the indoor growing operation, authorities said Thursday .

James R Karsner 36 and Sheree Denise Beasley, 25 both of Jeffersonville , Indiana were charged with manufacturing marijuana, trafficking marijuana, maintaining a vehicle or dwelling for a controlled substance, and possession of marijuana paraphernalia.

James R Karsner was jailed under a $75,000 bond. Sheree Beasley, a former employee at the Floyd County Clerk of Courts Office, was jailed under a $50,000 bond.
