Local authorities were responding to a noise complaint late this evening at a residence just outside of Norborne, Mo. Callers reported loud gun shots followed by what sounded like screams of agony.
When officers arrived on scene they found a middle aged, white male, later identified as Tracy Clevenger, laying naked in the fetal position covered in gun powder clinging to an AR-15 rifle.
Clevenger, 40, of Norborne was conscious and whispering sweet nothings to the firearm. Officers on scene quickly apprehended Clevenger, who’s only concern was the safety of “Nancy”. (Nancy was later identified as the rifle.)
Investigators have not been able to determine why Clevenger was covered with gun powder but speculate he was involved in some sort of twisted seance just moments before. No other suspects were found at the seen.
