A local woman was arrested after she allegedly defecated on the front lawn of a neighbor.
Margaret Perry, of Jacksonville, was arrested on Wednesday after a neighbor picking up his newspaper saw a woman, who was wearing a bath robe, squatting in his front yard grunting and pooping.
Police say Perry admitted to relieving herself in the front yard.
“I know what you want to talk to me about. I’ve been very upset with my nieghbor, so I decided to send a message and relieve my runny stool in his yard. I did what I had to do, got it?” she said, according to the report.
“Those people who called on me just wanted to start problems. I know who it was and I can assure you, I have a big brown surprise for them too”
The woman who turned her in said she would’ve gladly allowed Perry to use her bathroom had she just knocked on her door.
Perry was charged with public defecation, and now faces a fine of $2,500 or six months in jail. Perry is free on bond. Her first court appearance is pending.
