Louisville Man Quits Job, Commits to Working Out All Day Instead

“Work was really just getting in the way,” said Morgan Shane on his decision to quit work and to spend the entire day working out. “Eight metcons and lifting was not allowing me to realize my full potential as an athlete.”

Shane, who most recently has been following 12 different training programs in order to work in as much volume as possible, found that his time was severely limited by having to leave the gym and work. He made the decision to become a full time athlete and on Monday, he brought a cot, small refrigerator, and a week’s worth of clothes to the gym.

“We have discussed it, and we will just have to bring the kids up to the gym to visit him,” said Kim, Morgan’s wife.

Rogue Fitness is expected to make a weekly delivery of new Nike Metcons beginning next week.
