Louisville Woman Facing Charges For Animal Theft

Scarlet Garrity, of Louisville, was arrainged today on charges of animal theft. Police say that this is the end of a six month long investigation into a serial chicken theft ring terrorizing Jeffersontown neighborhoods. One victim, who wishes to remain anonymous, describes his experience: “Every morning I walked out to my extremely cool urban farm on my composite deck to retrieve eggs from my hens. At first, she was just stealing the eggs. But them my chickens started disappearing.” Garrity’s reign of terror came to an end when police received a tip that she was harboring hundreds of chickens in her backyard pool.
