Meriden Man Arrested On Burglary Charges

A 23 year old Meriden man was arrested Thursday evening for what authorities said was the most horrific crime they have ever saw.

Suspect Wilfredo Medina of 36 East Main St was placed under arrested as he walked into work for stealing a shipment of Freeze Plugs. The investigation started when a local Napa Auto Parts look into they inventory and noticed that the order of freeze plugs were not in the shipment, Medina was questioned back in April about the shipment but denied anything about any freeze plugs. Det. Jamie Marsh Head of Meriden Police Department larceny division said it wasn’t until Medina was over heard by other employees staff talking about a track event where he would of went 9 seconds in his Turbo Ser if it wasn’t for his Freeze Plugs coming out at that point Det. Marsh remember a similar incident of a shipment of Shims being reported missing back in March of 2015. Medina was question about the 2015 Shims incident and also denied that but once Meriden Pd looked into Medina Facebook Profile they knew it was Medina who was stealing all the Freeze Plugs and Shims when Medina was confronted with the Newley evidences Det Marsh said Medina face got sweaty and he then yelled out (You won’t Take me alive) and ran out the Department jumping into a White Nissan Ser but before hitting boost the car went into limp mode and shut off Medina then told officers I almost got away from you if my Freeze Plugs didn’t come out.

Medina is due in Court July 5 and being held on a 200,000 bond
