On June 29th, 2017 at approximately 6:25 p.m., in the area of Holmes NY, members of the City of Holmes Detective Division, the New York State Police Major’s crimes, and the Dutchess County District Attorney’s office arrested Jason Abagnale in connection with a murder of two state troopers which occurred at or around route 52, said officials.
Abagnale is awaiting Murder charges in the 2nd degree and is expected to be arraigned before a Town of Kent Judge on July 5th, 2017.
The investigation is ongoing.
