Ohio man up for Worlds best Fisherman

A Portage County man is in the Field & Stream annual world’s best fisherman competition. Caden Kimberlin (18, Mogadore) Runs an Instagram page called “catchin_keepers” under the pen-name “tank” to keep it separate from his personal profile. Mr. Kimberlin uses the page to post pictures and videos of fish, mainly Largemouth bass, to his 6.9 million followers. The young man last year posted a picture of a 6.5lb largemouth bass that he caught using a top water frog in a private pond. That photo has garnered alot of attention to Mr. Kimberlin’s account. He is currently in the lead for the Field & Stream World’s Best Fisherman competition, the prize for which is ten million dollars cash, a new bass boat, and a 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor, as well as various sponsorship opportunities. I spoke to Mr. Kimberlin today via phone call and he said he plans to “donate half the money to charity” and “spend the other half on bada** redneck stuff”.
As previously stated he is currently in the lead, with Kevin Van Dam, Mike Iachonelli, and Ish Monroe in that order.
