Good news for Olive Garden fans! Lease agreement has been confirmed that Olive Garden has signed a 15 year lease in the former Old Country Buffet property. They more recently have been negotiating with the Diocese of Springfield for the property that was previously in use as the Saint Mary’s complex on Tyler St. in Pittsfield. That plan fell through when negotiations were at a standstill due to the beautification projects being undertaken in that neighborhood.
“It seems to be a natural fit for the Berkshire Crossing complex, to have Olive Garden join that family.” Rosalyn Davenport, attorney for Olive Garden, gave as a statement on behalf of her client. This is an unfolding story that will be updated in the coming weeks.
