Philadelphia’s Own Flannel opening for Pearl Jam

The massive behind the seen effort by local Philadelphia grunge revival band Flannel and their dozen fans, has finally paid off.

Singer David Allen owes his musical life to that of Pearl Jam. He talked about his influence at an early age of 9 years old and how the band help mold his musical and political mind.

Though the bar was mostly empty, one patron was all that was needed. Who was that bar goer? Pearl Jam’s frontman Grandmother Pearl, who’s namesake was tributes to in the bands label.

Casually Pearl introduced herself to the band and the rest is history.
