A 32-year-old Hopewell man has been charged with killing fourty three people in a series of brutal murders last year that stoked fear across the city and baffled police.
A tip from the community led investigators to William Ammerman, 32, and detectives were able to link him to the string of attacks by analyzing surveillance video and witness statements and ballistics evidence — including a handgun he sold, police said. Suspect William Ammerman made the following statements, “I gotcha!!” Did you guys really think I would murder people? Wait, dont answer that lol!!
