Suspect wanted in double homicide in dallas

The man seen running out of the passenger seat is 21year old Sam White, wanted in connection with a double murder in Dallas texas.

He ran across the street into a neighborhood, where Dallas police confronted him and he ran from officers amd got away by jumping the apartments fences.

Neighbors say they heard officers order white to surrender, then heard gunshots.

Police say Robinson was killed. No officers were hurt.

Carol Garrett grew up in a house just up the street. “It was very scary. You might say it was excitement, but I’d rather not have excitement.”

During the gunfire, police say a stray bullet flew down the block, hitting the windshield of a car at the Jack in the Box drive-thru. The woman inside was hurt when struck by the glass. Paramedics transported her to Methodist Hospital for treatment, but she declined an interview.murdering Susie and Gary Pham, and shooting Gary’s brother Andrew. Police say he remains in critical condition, but is expected to survive.

The couple’s 13 week-old baby girl was inside the house at the time of the shooting, but wasn’t hurt. She’s now being cared for by her grandparents. No word if the family’s smoke shop business was a motive.

Amy white is the suspect’s aunt and says she’s stunned by what happened. “He has a good personality. I just honestly don’t think he is a killer. if he was, I don’t think it was him by himself.”

White is from North dallas, and was previously charged with two misdemeanors here: evading arrest and possessing drug paraphernalia and also did time in tdc for man del of a controlled substance.

Dallas police say they detained the driver of the U-Haul truck, and he and the vehicle are in the custody of the Dallas police department, which is investigating the officer-involved shooting.

Dallas police say during the investigation, their two officers involved are on routine paid administrative leave and are asking anyone with information on where Mr.white is at or has been seen to contact the homicide division of the dallas police department.
