After a night on the town, 34 year old Matthew Heneghan, watched in horror as his good friend 35 year old, Port Credit native, Daniel Kavanagh, was whisked away by an aggressive escalator. “There was nothing I could do!” Matthew said, as he watched while his friend Daniel, struggle and fight for his life as he was carried upwards towards places unknown.
Daniel sustained only minor injuries and was later released from a local hospital.
