The term ‘bassholes’ trademarked by fishing village in Alaska

The wide spread used word ‘bassholes’ has finally been trademarked by a fishing village in Alaska. The chief of the fishing village, Mike Hunt, said his people have been using e term for centuries.

“Although we fish mainly for trout and salmon, our ancestors thought it was a great name to start going by, so it just kind of stuck” Hunt said.

Mike Hunt said the trademark goes into effect on July 2nd, and will carry a fine of 20k for unauthorized use of the name.
