Wappingers Central School District

Wappingers Central school district without a public vote has ruled to continue school in July instead of ending in June as well as stating “school should not be from early morning to early afternoon but from 9 am to 5 pm to simulate a real workday.”This way the chdren will experience a real work day experience.They also ruled that “over 15 absences in each marking period will result in arriving at school at 8am instead of 9am for the following marking period.
