The entertainment industry is in mourning again today as one of the greatest playwrights in history is still deceased at 401 years old.

This continued loss is still felt by millions of fans as they gather at opera houses and theaters around the world to celebrate some of Mr. Shakespeare’s works. “William Shakespeare has really pushed me to become a more disciplined actor”, explained Micheal Hunt. “His level of creativity and ability to weave together such thick plot lines is nothing short of genious”. Others have also expressed their appreciation for the late writer. Olivia Hussey, the actress who played Juliet in the 1966 film adaptation of “Romeo and Juliet” shared her admiration of Shakespeare. “Romeo and Juliet has stood the test of time as the world’s greatest love story”, said Ms. Hussey.

Many other tributes continue to pour in from around the world for Mr. Shakespeare, who’s work includes such productions as Hamlet, Othello, and King Lear. He is also being remembered for the countless sonnets he composed throughout his life.

“Bill is going to go down as the world’s best playwright”, said Carlton Blake, a local high school drama teacher and friend of the late playwright. Blake stated that a great number of high schools across the nation are hosting plays based upon Shakespeare’s writings in his memory.

Shakespeare was born and brought up in Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire. At the age of 18, he married Anne Hathaway, with whom he had three children: Susanna, and twins Hamnet and Judith. Sometime between 1585 and 1592, he began a successful career in London as an actor, writer, and part-owner of a playing company called the Lord Chamberlain’s Men, later known as the King’s Men. He appears to have retired to Stratford around 1613, at age 49.
