1 dead 2 critically injured during “gun fight”

At a home in Bath County on Elk Lick Rd a gun fight broke out between two men over a coon dog. Neighbors say they heard one gun shot a 1 man out of the three yelled “My coon dog is better than yours, and you know it!” That’s when he called the police because he said it seemed serious. Officials say when they arrived, one man was laying face down in the ditch, and the other two had fled the scene. No names have been released, we will update as we know more.
