AJ McCarron’s New Team

It’s official, Bengals fans. Back-up Quarterback AJ McCarron, a 2014 graduate of the University of Alabama, is no longer the No. 2 option behind long-time starter Andy Dalton.

In a unique three-team trade deal between the Cincinnati Bengals, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Pittsburgh Steelers, McCarron will go to the Steelers. Also in this trade, veteran and often injury-plagued Steelers Center Maurkice Pouncey goes to the Buccaneers along with a 2018 2nd Round Draft pick, while the Bengals will get the 2018, 2019 and 2020 7th Round picks of the Buccaneers, with options of a new staff heating and air technician and a barely-used refrigerator for the Coaches’ offices.

“I think this is a ‘can’t miss’ opportunity for this great team,” Bengals President and Owner, Mike Brown said. “We’ve needed an HVAC guy for a while now, and I was shrewd enough to make another team pay for it! Maybe now the people of Cincinnati will start to have 2nd thoughts when they make snap judgments about how I run this team.”

The 2017 NFL season looks like it might get interesting, folks!
