All modified vehicles in the state of Oregon will be impounded

Bill has passed, in the state of Oregon. After September 2017 any vehicle with aftermarket parts such as modifed exhaust, aftermarket HID lights, LED lights, aftermarket wheels, lowered suspension, turboed supercharged, etc. will be impounded unless owner of vehicle has a receipt or written statement from certified automotive shop for needed purposes for DEQ emissions reason. Oregon DEQ has changed due to laws and policies. A failure to no proof for violation will be a maximum penalty of $20,000.00 in fines and a consider a felony. Violators vehicle will be impounded on site. Car meets will be banned such as the popular car meet down town of Portland called the Red Door Meet. All these areas will be patrolled and targeted for any violatiors. All performance automotive will have to be shut down. For more info in regards of aftermarket parts will be under the line below.
