CSX Transportation announces closure of railroad line

Today CSX announced it is closing the line of operation from Montgomery,Alabama to and including Atlanta,Georgia. VPO Cindy Sanborn made the announcement in a conference call with senior managers of the division . The line closure is the former Atlanta and West Point Railroad.
