FWC Mutton Snapper Ban

July 18th 2017 Florida Wildlife Conservation Commission and NOAA had a meeting discussing mutton snapper and the harvesting of the species. After months of discussion and a six-hour meeting a unanimous decision throughout the council decided to ban mutton snapper harvesting until December 31st 2022. The reason for the ban is mainly because dwindling populations do mainly from the cause and effect of the skills of Daniel Wayne Lanier Jr. of Orlando Florida. He is too good at catching them.
