Hamden Ct – A Hamden resident identified as Juan Santana was arrested today at a local footlocker as employees claim he asked to try on a pair of Jordan sneakers and ripped them due to his over grown toe nails. Santana initially denied all claims and tried to walk out without paying for the shoes retailing for $149.99. Cops caught up to him a few minutes later as they heard his Sharp nails dragging on the concrete sidewalk. He was detained and layer released on a $500 bond. Santana is due in court July 27 and was banned from all footlocker shoe stores. Santana could not be reached for comments.
