HAYWARD – Remember Levi the 12 pound dachshund who cornered a robber who was attempting to rob his home in Hayward? Kittish Lord, the robber was sent to Santa Rita.
Last Friday Lord filed a lawsuit in Alameda County District Court against Levi, claiming Levi had dissed him and owed him for the damages. Lord claimed that once the other inmates at Santa Rita learned how Lord was cornered by the 12 pound Levi, he became the laughing stock of the jail. A typical chant was “You must not much of a man if a 12 pound dog corners you.” I told them you ain’t seen anything like this dog – he’s something else.
The lawsuit is for $100,000 for emotional distress, plus punitive damages to be accessed by the court. Also Levi would be required to undergo extensive diversity The lawyer representing Lord stated :”his a slam dunk case or I would have not taken it – this dog needs to be reigned in.”It is not known who will represent Levi in court.
