A 13 year old Lincoln girl was swimming in Orange Beach on Saturday, July 15th when an open cut on her arm was exposed to the bacteria in the water. Two days later she stated she didn’t feel right and had to go to the doctor. She later found out her arm would have to be amputated this morning, Monday July 17th at 6 am at UAB. We’ll release more information as the details of the story are revealed.
