Not everyday do you find gold but when you do hope that it is as special as what Mr. Charles Young, from Ringgold, Georgia did. While hiking up Mount Unagi, Mr. Young literally stumble over what he thought was a normal volcanic rock and literally walked away from it, not thinking much about it.
As the saying goes, “when you are lucky, your lucky. As Mr. Young was trecking back down the mountain he tripped over the same object, but this time he said he noticed it was not a normal stone and since he had his breakdown military style shovel he dug it out.
He took the stone to a rocktologist and soon discover that the heavy stone he had found was a 99.4% pure gold nugget weighing in at 21 pounds 4 ounces.
Mr and Mrs Young have scheduled an auction with a starting bid at $21,400,000.00.
