A man had a stroke of luck when he claimed a jackpot this week by winning $5 million from the lottery.
Mike Boress purchased two $10 “Set for Life” scratch-offs on May 20 at the Seven Eleven in Palatine IL while he was visiting a friend for coffee. Mike said his girlfriend Kristen had given him $20 for some scratch off tickets a day earlier and advised him to play a scratch-off.
