As of July 20, 2017, recreational use of marijuana will become decriminalized in the state of South Carolina. The DEA has set the minimum smoking age to 18 years old. Any person 18 years of age or older is allowed 6 plants to be grown personally.
Dispensaries will be located in Myrtle Beach, Ridgeville, North Charleston, Summerville, and Columbia.
