Missouri lottery officials said on Tuesday, Marilyn Barton of Peace Valley has won the grand prize on the Missouri scratch off ticket, $100,000 multiplier.
Barton stated on Tuesday her and her husband went to town to get some chicken feed and a few groceries. She said they stop by Casey’s General store on St. Louis Street in West Plains to get gas before leaving town. She said she never buys lottery tickets but decided to buy the $5 scratch off ticket.
She stated after they got home, they unloaded the chicken feed and put away the groceries. She stated she set out and scratched off the winning numbers and was totally shocked. She said she had never bought a lottery ticket before and just had a feeling that today was her lucky day. She said she plans on saving the money for a rainy day.
