Marion county resident arrested on public intoxication charges and grand theft auto

An Indianapolis resident was arrested late Monday night after leading police on a chase which started at Burger King. Police were first alerted about this call after a Burger King employee had called about a man throwing food and dancing on their counter alongside assaulting an employee. Before the police he arrived he stole a car in the parking lot and proceeded to lead the cops on a 6 cop car police chase down I-465. About 20 minutes into the chase the car spun out and hit a wall. The police were able to arrest Mr. Tate with just few minor injurys. He is currently being held on public indecency, public intoxication, and grand theft auto charges.
