Modified Honda are legal from the state of Illinois

This morning Illinois Police Chief , Dan Jitterfield, announced that no more tolerance will be had with not only street racing in the Chicago-Land area but turbo Hondas are too, getting out of hand. The Illinois State Council passed a bill early this morning banning all modified Hondas from being able to be driven on the street and deemed “unroadworthy”

We interviewed a young Honda enthusiastic from the Chicago area that was quite concerned about this new law being passed today. He stated,” I don’t know why this law is even concerning Illinois. We do all of our racing in our turbo civic in Mexico anyways.”

Though many people of the car enthusiasts world are concerned of this new founded law. This law will not be implemented until August 11, 2017. Many rumors are going around that they plan on “2-stepping” in front of the Chicago Police Department to make their voices heard.
