An 18 year woman from New Zealand on vacation has died in a tragic accident after she reportedly attempted to ‘take a selfie with an alligator’ she spotted at the yuba river. Witnesses at the scene claimed that they warned the woman that the alligator was moving behind her, but she was too slow to react before it struck, seizing her legs and dragging her into the river and down the rapids.
The incident occurred at the Yuba river. This area is not know to have any gators. We are currently waiting on more information from GVPD. May that indian girl rest in peace.
