New Kansas Law Takes Affect 8-1-17

Kansas lawmakers have voted on and approved new legislation that will secede Kansas from the union and become its own country along with Oklahoma and Texas, one of the biggest changes will be people in these states will no longer pay federal income tax and a portion of those funds will now go to the state to fund things like free healthcare and free education. It appears that the only down side to this is if you are a nonnative to one of these states they will have to pay for healthcare and education at a prorated rate based on the amount of time they have to lived in the state. 12 other states are considering similar legislation.
